  The primary cause cited by Ola Electric for fires in their scooters is the use of aftermarket parts, which can lead to poor connections and potential short circuits. 
• Battery issues:

  While aftermarket parts are often blamed, battery issues like faulty cells or poor manufacturing standards within the lithium-ion battery itself can also contribute to fires in electric vehicles. 
• Thermal runaway:

  A major concern in lithium-ion batteries is "thermal runaway", where a single cell overheating can trigger a chain reaction causing the entire battery pack to overheat and potentially catch fire.

5)  भारत की प्रमुख इलेक्ट्रिक दोपहिया वाहन निर्माता Ola Electric (ओला इलेक्ट्रिक) बड़े पैमाने पर छंटनी करने की योजना बना रही है। एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, कंपनी 1000 से ज्यादा कर्मचारियों और ठेके पर काम करने वाले वर्कर्स को नौकरी से निकालने की योजना बना रही है। बताया जा रहा है कि यह फैसला कंपनी के मुनाफे को बढ़ाने के मकसद से लिया गया है। हालांकि, ओला इलेक्ट्रिक की ओर से इस मामले पर अभी तक कोई आधिकारिक प्रतिक्रिया नहीं आई है।

• कंपनी को ग्राहकों की शिकायतों का निवारण करने में परेशानी हो रही है. सेंट्रल कंज्यूमर प्रोटेक्शन अथॉरिटी (सीसीपीए) ने कंपनी को कारण बताओ नोटिस भेजा था. 
• कंपनी के सीटीओ और सीएमओ, लिस्टिंग के एक साल के अंदर ही इस्तीफ़ा दे चुके हैं. 
• कंपनी ने लागत कम करने के लिए करीब 1,000 कर्मचारियों की छंटनी की है. 
• कंपनी के खिलाफ़ उपभोक्ताओं की बढ़ती शिकायतों का आकलन करने के लिए भारी उद्योग मंत्रालय (एमएचआई) ने एआरएआई से अनुरोध किया था. 
• सेबी ने 7 जनवरी को सेबी प्रकटीकरण विनियम, 2015 के नियमों के उल्लंघन का हवाला देते हुए चेतावनी जारी की थी. 

9)  CCPA की जांच का उद्देश्य ओला की सेवा की शर्तों, शिकायत निवारण तंत्र, सेवा केंद्र मानकों      और बुनियादी ढांचे की जांच करना है। न्यायालय ने ओला इलेक्ट्रिक को छह सप्ताह के भीतर     आवश्यक दस्तावेज प्रस्तुत करने का निर्देश दिया, तथा पुष्टि की कि जांच वैध है तथा                    उपभोक्ता शिकायतों को दूर करने के लिए आवश्यक है।
